A long time ago, I thought winning looked like being able to buy a home near a mountain stream, adopting a dog to play in the water, and never having to worry about losing the land, the house, the stream, or the dog. I bought a web domain and formed an LLC named Dog&Stream.

I found a home in a jewel-box city on the tip of a peninsula, where there are many dogs and a lot of water, but remarkably few streams.

For me, Dog&Stream was the first dream of a successful and happy life resulting from ingenuity, hard work, and an honest commitment to joy as both a daily and a long-term goal.

Rather than change the name (at one point I used “Jordan Baines Marketing” as a d.b.a.), I keep it as a reminder of how good goals evolve as they are pursued.

It’s also an invitation to share photos of your dog, your stream, or your dog as they play in a stream.
